COVID-19 POLICIES & FAQ

Dear dreamers,

Due to new government measurements and raising covid numbers, clubs and festivals in the Netherlands will be closed until August 13th.. A real slap in the face. We’re sending all our love over to you, our visitors, artists and all our colleges in the industry!
Last couple of months we have been working around the clock to make La Rêve Beach Festival a reality this year, so it’s a hit for all of us to inform you that we are currently forced to cancel this edition on August 7th.
It’s with a very heavy heart to announce that we are unable to deliver a festival on this date. We have tons of unanswered questions and we totally understand you have them as well. All ticketholders will be informed soon about their tickets and hopefully a new date. We’re working closely with all partners to see if we have the opportunity to reschedule the event a few weeks. For now we need some time to figure everything out and to make sure we have the best options in place for you. Please bear with us, we will get back to you soon!
This unexpected announcement was a big hit for our small crew, the artists, the location, partners and freelance helpers, but we will keep our hopes and only come out stronger together with you! Keep on dreaming.. We will dance again!

All information regarding events and tickets in 2021

Now events are cancelled again until at least 13/08/21. What will happen with my ticket(s)?

Currently the situation is undergoing changes and it’s not clear yet what the new policies will be when events are allowed again. We’re aiming to reschedule a few weeks but we also have to check with partners, locations, artists, staff & local authorities if this is possible. This requires some time, so untill then we want to ask you to wait patiently. When more information is available we will contact you and give you options to share your preferences.

What happens to my converted tickets from 2020?

You can just treat them as normal purchased ticket(s) of La Rêve Beach Festival 2021. More info on what will happen with these will follow soon!

What will the COVID-19 restrictions be at La Rêve Beach Festival?

By the looks are it we will be required to comply with regulations that demand a personal registration + valid QR code in the CoronaCheck app. More info on this can be found on www.testenvoortoegang.nl.

Currently the situation is undergoing changes and it’s not clear yet what the new policies will be when events are allowed again.

What happens if the La Rêve Beach Festival or future events cannot continue due to COVID-19 regulations?

Everyone will receive an e-mail with multiple option(s). These vary to the circumstances but will be communicated shortly after an event isn’t able to continue.

I bought a ticket through Ticketswap, what do I do now?

La Rêve has a partnership with Ticketswap. This means all tickets sold through Ticketswap have been canceled and reissued on the name of the new buyer. The new buyers have the same rights as ticket buyers who bought their ticket via Tibbaa, taking into account price paid by the new buyer. Everyone who bought a ticket through TicketSwap will be contacted by TicketSwap soon.

What happened to my tickets for event(s) in 2020 that got cancelled due to COVID-19 regulations?

Everyone who was a ticket holder has received multiple e-mail(s) with options to request a refund / convert your ticket OR get a voucher (deadlines passed 9/7/21):

  • Requested vouchers for a future La Rêve event will be send out in August and valid till 01/08/2022.
  • If you haven’t provided us with a preference yet you can still request a voucher (till 01/07/2022) by sending your La Rêve Festival 2020 or La Rêve Paradiso ticket(s) to support@reve-events.nl with the question to receive a voucher.
  • Vouchers will be valid till 01/08/2022.  
  • Donate your ticket <3 No action required, voucher will automatically expire.

I requested a monetary refund, when will I receive this?

The refund will be processed ultimately a month after La Rêve Festival 7/8/2021.  This is in accordance with the new regulation reached by various trade organizations in the cultural sector, the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets.
